Fr. Hansoo Park | Chaplain 

Born in Seoul, Korea on the Feast Day of St. Anthony of Padua, Fr. Hansoo Antonio Park is the only son and youngest of three siblings. His family moved to Canada in February 1990. He entered the formation for the priesthood at Serra House and St. Augustine’s Seminary in Toronto, and was ordained on May 14th 2005.

Fr. Hansoo’s first assignment was at Blessed Trinity Parish in North York as an Associate Pastor. His second assignment was at St. Francis Xavier Parish in Mississauga, also as an Associate Pastor. Thereafter, he was assigned as the Vocations Director and Rector of Serra House, the Philosophy Seminary of the Archdiocese of Toronto. In this position, he journeyed with many men and women as a spiritual leader and joyful role model. This is one of Fr. Hansoo’s favourite things about priestly life – “Being able to walk and journey with people.”

Fr. Hansoo is the Pastor of St. Barnabas Parish in Scarborough. Fr. Hansoo has been the chaplain of the UTSC Catholic Chaplaincy since 2014.

Marie Gamboa | Campus Minister UTSC & Centennial College Catholic Chaplaincies

Marie Gamboa started her role as Campus Minister in September 2022. Before that, she completed her BA in Christianity & Culture at the University of Toronto St. George Campus in June 2022 and worked as a Totus Tuus summer missionary for the Archdiocese of Toronto the same summer. As Campus Minister, she enjoys forming Christ-centred friendships with students and accompanying them in their journey of growing as missionary disciples of Jesus.
